The Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI) is responsible for national policy and strategy formulation, legislation and coordination of the water sector. HYDROPHIL supported the MWI to enhance water sector reforms communciations and build capacities of water sector staff through:

  • Development and operationalization of a comprehensive water sector communication strategy, interactive web-based portal and information management system for water sector reforms
  • Performance enhancing induction on the Water Act 2016, policies and strategies under the Ministry
