Conceptual Design of Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment for an Energy Drink Production Plant in Manaus

The objective of the project was the conception and the design of the complete water supply and wastewater disposal system for a soft drink production plant in Manaus. The assignment included a variant study of different suitable wastewater treatment technologies, as well as the design of a water treatment plant to provide high quality raw water for production. The project was completed by the elaboration of a solid waste management concept. Services included:

  • Investigations in groundwater quality and long-term availability
  • Survey of existing groundwater abstraction rights
  • Planning, tendering, supervision and interpretation of pumping tests for analysis of a long-term sustainable ground water yield for drilled wells
  • Conceptual design and building permit design of a WWTP for industrial wastewater
  • Conceptual design and building permit design of a Water Treatment Plant for production water
  • Conceptual design and building permit design of storm water drainage and retention infrastructure
