The participants of both workshops were key stakeholders in the national water sector. A main aim of the workshops was to determine how future climate and socioeconomic trends might impact water security and the associated opportunities and risks.

The project is part of a comprehensive analysis of the national water sectors in the ECA Region and is funded by the World Bank. The project is led by the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA). InterSus, a German consultancy, is also part of the consortium.
