Lara Salloum, our new Deputy Head of Business Development!

HYDROPHIL is pleased to share that we have a new Deputy Head of Business Development, Lara Salloum!

Lara has worked in the sphere of donor-funded projects for over 14 years, focusing on energy, climate, and the environment.

Lara has always been interested in development cooperation, which led her to start her career by working in international organizations such as UNIDO and the European Commission and then later working in the electricity sector in Italy and the Mediterranean Region. As part of her many years of work in development cooperation, she has acquired extensive knowledge on providing tailor-made project offers and management of third-party-funded projects.

“I am looking forward to working with my colleagues here at HYDROPHIL, where there is a strong focus on sustainable development and improved living conditions in developing countries. The water sector is an integral part of a country and its citizens’ well-being, touching upon many sustainable development goals. Originally coming from a water-scarce region, I have seen first-hand the importance of access to clean water and its impact on everyday life. I am looking forward to continuing contributing to international development cooperation!” expressed Lara Salloum.
