HYDROPHIL achieves key ISO certifications and strengthens Water Stewardship expertise

At HYDROPHIL, we are not only committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable, and safe solutions in the water sector, but continuously strive for excellence in all aspects of our work. We are therefore proud to announce that in December 2024, we achieved certification for:

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System

These certifications enhance our internal quality management, environmental responsibility, and workplace safety, complementing our existing Green Small Business certification.

In addition, our Project Manager, Dr. Bastian Schnabel, has successfully completed the Standard System Training of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) with distinction. This qualification enables us to further support sustainable water resource management and assist sites in achieving AWS certification. As the pressure on our water resources is ever-increasing, it is important to develop an international cadre of water stewardship professionals across industry sectors who will ensure credibility in disseminating and adopting water stewardship knowledge and expertise.

The Alliance for Water Stewardship is a global membership organisation dedicated to advancing water stewardship worldwide. As part of this mission, AWS developed the AWS International Water Stewardship Standard (AWS Standard) to enable credible, robust water stewardship that can be independently verified anywhere in the world.

Bastian is now progressing with the AWS Professional Credentialing (PC) Programme to eventually become an AWS auditor.
