| Aard HARTVELD MA PhD
Aard Hartveld has over 35 years of working experience in the agricultural and water sectors and has been trained in agricultural science, development studies and rural sociology. His practical experience includes institutional and human resource development in the context of decentralisation and privatisation of agricultural support services, monitoring and evaluation of rural development, integrated agricultural and water resources management programmes/projects as well as training and research for farming system (including water for production). He has worked on short- and long-term assignments in Africa, the Middle East and Asia at local, regional and national level.
Aard Hartveld is guest lecturer at University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna (Integrated Water Resource Management in Developing Countries).
Language skills: mother tongue - Dutch, fluent in English and German, proficient in Indonesian and basic knowledge in French, Arabic and Swahili. |
