Consultancy Services for the Water Sector of the Austrian Development Cooperation
hydrophil in co-operation with the Univ. of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences BOKU, Vienna, advises the Austrian Development Cooperation in the Water Sector with a team of senior water sector experts and specialists in water sector relevant aspects among which:
- Advice for the further development of sector policies, strategies, and national as well as regional master plans;
- Preparation of pre-feasibility, feasibility studies and project documents in close collaboration with or through support to local partners;
- Backstopping services of ADA's partners with the objective of successful implementation of ADA's water and sanitation programmes and projects worldwide;
- Support to ADA's country offices; esp. in Burkina Faso, Cap Verde, Mozambique, Uganda, Palestine, and Nicaragua;
- Assistance in the enhancement of cooperation and collaboration with multi- (i.a. UN, World Bank, EU Commission) and bilateral development institutions / initiatives (i.a. EU Water Initiative).
